Art Studio Design

Learn key design skills for designing your own studio.

In this 8-week course you will learn about the permits, consultants and costs required to get your project build-ready. You’ll learn how to analyse your site and position your studio to make the most of the site opportunities, while avoiding risks and future headaches. You will learn the basics of passive solar and low carbon footprint design and learn how to design a practice specific floor plan. HInt: there’s more to it than you think.

Please note, this course embraces hand drawing and does not require the use of any apps. It is not a drafting course.

This course has been created for, but not limited to, artists practicing in regional Victoria. Places are limited. Classes are live on zoom on Thursday nights 7-9pm with the possibility of weeks 4 and 8 being held in the studio depending on Covid restrictions. Contact us by email to find out more.
